My name is Mike Hoskins and I’m the founder and rebinder behind Rooted Bibles.

I’ve been a career firefighter for over 23 years and live in Lafayette, Indiana with my beautiful wife Megan, and our two wonderful kids, Colton and Brooklyn. Our home life can get hectic at times, but Megan and I enjoy every second of it—whether we’re cheering at our daughter’s volleyball games or watching our son play competitive golf! As a family, our ultimate goal is to always put God first and live by His Word as best we can.

My journey into Bible rebinding was something I never expected, but I felt a clear calling to it, and it quickly grew into a deep passion. It is truly humbling to take a Bible and craft it into a custom heirloom—something designed to be loved, cherished, and passed down to future generations. I pour full attention into every single detail to ensure each piece is made right.

I chose the name Rooted Bibles because I believe the Bible and God’s Scripture is meant to be read, studied, and deeply engaged with—not left on a shelf to gather dust. My mission is to build you a custom Bible that feels incredible in your hands and invites you to spend time in the Word every day.
